First light reveals damage left behind by Hurricane Laura
Laura made landfall overnight near Cameron, Louisiana, with wind speeds of 150 mph. On Thursday morning, Governor John Bel Edwards reported the first known fatality from the storm. Over half a million customers are without power in Louisiana and Texas, according to power companies.
