Washington Wizards All-Star guard Bradley Beal on Thursday surprised four Ron Brown College Preparatory High School students who will be attending historically Black colleges and universities in the fall with $3,000 scholarships.
Each student also received a special gift box containing a Microsoft Surface Pro and keyboard, a Wizards and Washington Mystics Black Lives Matter T-shirt, a copy of the bestselling book “Between the World and Me,” a sweatshirt of each student’s respective university, inspirational quote pins and a Wizards fanny pack with branded items.
The gift boxes were dropped off at the homes of the students, all four of whom are D.C. residents.https://www.washingtoninformer.com/wizards-beal-surprises-four-rbhs-students-with-hbcu-scholarships/
