It's time to lineup sponsors. HBCUs should be able to fund anything now. Businesses want to be seen as supporting the African American community.

Let me know how long it takes you to raise $40,000,000 from the Black community.

All of the comments are right on this one. But don't get hooked on that crack you can't afford lather. Don't go and create programs that need funding long lasting. This recent fondness of our causes has a very limited shelve life. Most of them will grow tired of protested with us and go back to their normal privileged lives. Just take what they give us now and put it in our endowments.

I remember speaking an HBCU grad who is very successful with his bank,he indicated that those in power would rather give money to Black businesses that will not last instead of proven winners... :tiptoe:
