Not a quote...

Just because we lost three solid members doesn’t mean we don’t have solid members.

“The MEAC will sustain itself and get better as a conference.”
How, sir?

Thomas is a joke.

Howard’s Prez has far more sense and seems far more aware.

Piggybacking off of Jay 'Sky' Walker's question, is there any chance that NCA&T could rejoin the conference if the new format and alignment meet their approval??? Personally I don't think Hampton would rejoin the conference with Dr. Harvey as their President.

I've been trying to catch his take on this. Where did you hear/see his podcast?

About 10 to 15 minutes in the questioning session.  He was like the second person to ask a question.

What points make you feel better

1.  NCCU don't have to join another conference.
2.  The MEAC will continue.  (I know you are sorry to hear this)
3.  Profit sharing for schools will go up.

Just to name a few.  Y'all enjoy your new conference.

EXACTLY!   Never thought so many  would find glee in BCU and FAMU move..       Dr Thomas and Fredericks did a good job of informing the stakeholders within the conference who care about the MEAC achieving its potential.   This was a great presentation.   This conference was started by stalwarts of HBCU institutions.   I want to see their work and legacy continue.   Some here remember those names ,implied.

No one has spoken against the decision of BCU or FAMU.  They are still great  ole friends and we wish them well.

Thomas needs to be commended on the eighteen years positive transfer of funds to conference affiliates.   Commissioner positions are thankless.  Glad he had the transparency of the situation, which left me feeling - it is not that bad.  We will be alright.   As for the consultants.                ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
