Like j1908 yard work than a backyard BBQ. But mostly studying.I'm shooting for an Agile and Scrum certifications so my free time is limited. :'(

I'm staying far away from I-95 and any major roadways., and "whispers" clear people  in large groups :tiptoe:

I'll probably do a morning hike in the Santa Monica mountains this weekend. Will probably start out around 7 am to ensure scarcity of people.

You ever been up to Mt. Whitney?

Brotherwiregrass, I've not done Whitney yet. I do have some friends that did it a couple of years ago. I may do it at some point. I'm still working on doing the highest peaks in Southern California. I've done two of the three highest peaks here already. Mt San Antonio - 10,068 feet, and Mt San Jacinto (10,800 feet). The highest peak in SoCal is Mt San Gorgonio at 11,500 feet. I'm a little apprehensive about San Gorgonio because it is an 18 mile roundtrip hike and the furthest I've done is a 12 mile roundtrip, which was San Jacinto...................and I got mountain sickness  close to the peak on that hike (although I had a cold right before I did it). The last peak I did was last summer. It was Mt Baden-Powell at 9,400 feet. Felt good on that one.

Had you done Whitney before?

ONE OF MY NEW YEAR's RESOLUTIONS WAS NOT TO ENGAGE IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE WITH "SELF-DESCRIBED ASSHOLES" or "LIARS". I HOPE I AM ABLE TO CONTINUE TO KEEP IT. (Posted on January 6, 2020). AND... "https://naaga.co/."

That's the best time. I usually go for a morning run @645 before the masses awake.

Exactly J1908! Even out here in L.A. these people will wait until 9 or 10 am to hit the trail. The way you can tell the difference between the real hikers and runners, and the weekend warriors is that the real folks ALWAYS hit the trail by 7 am.................unless the trail doesn't open till 8 am.

This is the trail I'm doing this weekend, by the way. :)

Cut the grass. Re-sodded a few spots in the back yard. Rebuilt a retaining wall in the side yard. Smoked two slabs of St Louis ribs for  dinner on the Traeger.

My black arse ain’t going nowhere.

The fellas called this morning to play golf....bruh man was like...

Am I going anywhere close to these uncoothed fools this weekend?

If capitalism is so great, why does it need to be bailed out by socialism every ten years?

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support>
