In these parts it was Shoney’s  Big Boy.

Never ate in the others listed.  Most of my restaurant Eating these days are from local business with the exception of Chick fil a when I venture there.

There is one Shoney's left here in Greensboro. Back in the day, they were on every major street.

Down here it was Frisch's Big Boy.
If capitalism is so great, why does it need to be bailed out by socialism every ten years?

ONE OF MY NEW YEAR's RESOLUTIONS WAS NOT TO ENGAGE IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE WITH "SELF-DESCRIBED ASSHOLES" or "LIARS". I HOPE I AM ABLE TO CONTINUE TO KEEP IT. (Posted on January 6, 2020). AND... "https://naaga.co/."

Never stopped or ate at one, but used to see Stuckey’s all over the place when we would drive to California. Not sure if they are still open or as popular as they once were.

Roy Rogers suck!

And for you BHM folks....no list is complete without Catfish King!

It's a Stuckey's in Hope Hull, Alabama, and another one I-10 before you get to Houston.

Just looked it up. Apparently the Greensboro location closed for remodeling but ended up not opening back up.  The Charlotte location closed also. There are 5 left in the state. Lumberton has one.  The virus will likely put the rest out of business.

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support>
