What's Your New Years Resolution?
« on: January 08, 2020, 10:49:59 PM »
I don't generally make resolutions but I'm going to make an exception this year.

I am putting my mobile phone down while driving. That means no texting, no fumbling with playlist, no looking up espn scores, no changing Pandora stations,  no google searches, etc.

This year I am determined to stay on course and hit my target weight. My mother called me fat and now I am determined to make her eat her words. Country folk make me sick with that "you so fat crap".   :brickwall:

I see it all the time on the road. The most scariest thing is when you see somebody in 40 ton 18 wheeler looking down at their  phone.

Waiting till New Year's to make a resolutions makes as much sense as waiting till halftime to make adjustments.

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support>
