Don't they or didn't they used to call Shoney's up north 'Elijah's or something like that? Same restaurant, mostly same menu, just different names.

Well at least Hardee's burgers aren't as dry as they used to be back in the day.

Big Boy

Quote
Founder Alex Schoenbaum opened the first Parkette Drive-In in 1947, and became a licensee of Big Boy Restaurants in 1952. Two years later the name was changed to Shoney's, and aggressive subfranchising followed. Thirty years later, having outgrown its Big Boy territory, Shoney's dropped the Big Boy affiliation.

It's similar to Checker's and Rally's. Carl Jr's is real active out in midwest/west coast.

Nope. In N Out are the best fast food burgers.

what are y'all considering when talking about best burger?  Just the meat by itself or all the other stuff these companies add on?

FATBURGER is my favorite. Hands down.

I would always get one when I was in Las Vegas.

Then they made a short appearance here in the ATL.

I was thrilled....and then they departed.

Denny's burgers are pretty good. A little pricey but good.

When I was working, on occasion I would go to Waffle House and get their double burger with grilled onions for lunch.
