Erdogan Returned Trump's 'Tough Guy' Letter During His White House Visit

After President Donald Trump abruptly withdrew U.S. forces from Kurdish-held northern Syria last month, he hastily (and fruitlessly) penned a letter to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warning the leader against sending Turkish troops into the region.

The language of that letter was so juvenile, many ― including senior White House correspondents ― assumed it was fake. It was not fake. And now, the very real letter is back in Trump’s possession.

Erdogan visited Trump at the White House on Wednesday, and at a joint press conference afterward he let slip that the letter had been “re-presented” to Trump that afternoon.

“We gave back the letter that we have received,” he emphasized in closing.

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support.
