I think espn+ has to be affecting attendance. For only $5 bucks per month you can watch almost all HBCU fcs games and a lot of the D2 games.

A tsunami in Atlanta affected the game and attendance.

But LSU'S games are shown every week and you still got to wait in line for season tickets  So just being on TV is not a bar to attendance   like I posted before Southern had a much larger attendance when the games started at 7 PM  Lot of blacks work on weekends and they need time to get home and prepare for the game.

Yep.  Bought my tickets last Thursday without checking the weather.  Needless to say I wasn’t in attendance. My daughter said HC was a wash. No pun intended.

Same in Fort Valley.   It was cold, rainy, and muddy.

We still had a blast though

With the exception of HC, 6 PM & 7 PM game times work better for FVS. Maybe the current FVS admin has learned that this season.

Exactly.  And 7 works better than 6 for whatever reason.

Those 5PM kickoffs were the WORST.

Williams' TD lifts FAMU to a 34-31 win versus N.C. A&T in overtime
Rory Sharrock, Tallahassee Democrat Published 7:38 p.m. ET Oct. 20, 2019 | Updated 9:49 p.m. ET Oct. 20, 2019

Florida A&M has a flair for the theatrics.
In five victories during its six-game winning streak, the Rattlers have pulled away triumphant in the closing minutes.
This trend continued versus No. 11 North Carolina A&T but with a twist.
Backup quarterback Rasean McKay's 22-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Williams in overtime propelled the Rattlers to a 34-31 advantage against the Aggies Sunday in front of 12,051 people at Bragg Memorial Stadium.
