The average NFL player makes 2 million per year AND THAT IS BEFORE TAXES. If get injured he does not get paid.  That is why I would rather play baseball.  Some of us confuse a rich lifestyle with wealth.

Easy the NFL is the goal for damn near every college football player..They feel HBCU's aren't beneficial for them attaining  that goal.

Since only 2% make the NFL their goal should be to graduate with a college degree   no matter how fabulous the school facilities are - there is a 98% chance you won't make it in the NFL.

If he is on contract, he will get paid.

You will only get paid if the guaranteed money in your contract is guaranteed against injury   most players don't get that. Also injury means on the field   not if you get into an outside altercation.  "You can make a lot more money by being smart than being strong or fast"-Robert Smith- black billionaire

An injured player gets paid for as long as he’s unable to play, no matter what his contract says. A team can’t release an injured player until he’s cleared.  If a player gets hurt doing a football-related activity, he’s covered, no matter when it happens. So if he tears his anterior cruciate ligament in a May minicamp, he’s covered. https://www.latimes.com/sports/nfl/la-sp-0928-ask-farmer-20140928-story.html

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support>
