The country is 35% black. In 2016, Trump lost the country by 20,000 votes. Yet, Bishop won the county by .3 %..... Many blacks voted for Bishop. Why....? Could it be black unemployment at a all time low and other factors.
Rural Dem-o-Crap votes were turned...because Republicans campaigned on what the Dem-o-craps are really pushing....especially the 4.
Not even sure what you are alluding to with conflating county and country......
In reviewing the Ninth District results, Union County propelled Bishop to the win. He took 60% of the vote to McCready’s 39.4.
Union County is predominately republican with 62K registered Republicans and 37k registers democrats.
From the map I saw, the Ninth District doesn’t include all of Mechlenburg County as alluded in the above. I wonder if this District gerrymandering excludes the urban core of Charlotte?
Can anyone with hands on knowledge provide perspectives on this?
