He knocked cable for years, then signed up.  I would have thought he would like the radio over TV anyway.

Well what did you sign up for awhile back?  It’s some form of pay-TV.

My issue is not with pay tv. it's with cable companies.

Oh brother  ::)

You can’t take it with you.  spend it, leave it to charity, or give it to your seemingly endless friends who can’t hold onto two nickels at once.

You are just like my mother, two nickels will burn a hole in her pocket.

Uh.....NO.

I'm trying to help YOU out. You, IMO, whining about the cost of every damn thing nobody wants to listen to that BS. Look, if you're broke go back to bartending or something  :shrug: Nobody on here wants to hear about it.  And if you're too cheap to spend your money over some phobia you have .........nobody wants to hear it.  Clear?

There's this app called spotify, that will allow you to listen to whatever you want most times.

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support>

Please consider supporting our efforts to foster free and open discussion of current issues as they relate to the topics you are interested in.
