The University of California, Riverside (UCR) Library is currently recruiting for our first Diversity Fellow. The two-year position is especially geared toward early-career librarians (May 2017-June 2019) who are interested in pursuing academic librarianship and have demonstrated an interest in, and commitment to, diversity, equity, and inclusion. The incumbent will have access to experienced library leaders and a network for sharing ideas, resources, best practices, and other opportunities (e.g. mentoring, support for professional development, etc.) to help gain the professional skills and competencies necessary for success.
