Dwight Howard's deal with the Lakers will be non-guaranteed, league source tells ESPN. Howard had several meetings with Lakers officials, and they'll give him a chance to show he's made changes in how he conducts himself. Lakers players were involved in process.
Howard came to meet Lakers after dropping 25 pounds; showed his back was healthy. Lakers want him to protect rim/rebound in limited role. There was sense Howard realized he hit "rock bottom" and had been humbled. Still they'll judge him on actions, not words. He's been warned.

Report: Anthony Davis, Rajon Rondo, JaVale McGee met with Dwight Howard, wanted to know whether they could trust him

The Lakers will sign Dwight Howard to a one-year, non-guaranteed $2.6 million deal once he clears waivers. Howard has completed his buyout with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Dwight Howard had a convincing and emotional meeting with the players and Lakers officials, explaining how he had reached rock bottom a season ago and needed to find a new mindset in his life. On and off the floor. He was not the teammate he needed to be in playing for three teams in the past three years. He did not take the game seriously enough, he did not understand what was needed to turn the corner.⁣

One source told, Shams Charania that Howard looked “amazing” during a workout with the Lakers on Thursday, and he also reportedly surprised officials by showing up to the Lakers’ facility a day early for an impromptu workout. ⁣

Howard’s last full season was 2017-18 with the Hornets when he averaged 16.6 points, 12.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 81 games. (30.4mins)⁣

He could be the greatest redemption story since Ron Artest

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.
