Yeah they are stuck with that Wall contract. Unfortunately the only way to see any relief is to move your beat assets Bradley Beal.

According to people familiar with the Lakers’ thinking, Kuzma has ingratiated himself with the organization both on the court and off, and management does not want to trade the forward, who is entering his third season.

The Lakers might have an opportunity to keep their No. 4 pick should they agree to part with Kuzma.

Anthony Davis Trade Rumors: Nets, Clippers Don't Have Traction Despite Interest

The Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Clippers are two teams on the rise that can use a superstar to lead their franchises to greater heights, but it doesn't look like New Orleans Pelicans big man Anthony Davis will be an option.

Kyrie Irving, Agent Jeff Wechsler Reportedly Part Ways Ahead of 2019 Free Agency

Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving has reportedly already made one significant change leading up to an offseason that could see him decline a player option for the 2019-20 campaign and sign elsewhere as an unrestricted free agent.

if the lakers sent lonzo to the wizards, what da heck are they gone do with wall?  wall is a far better player than lonzo, lonzo would have to be a "backup" unless the wizards trade wall but i don't see another franchise taking on the contract that wall has, especially since he's injured.

reportedly the lakers don't wanna trade kuzma, so this deal probably ain't going nowhere...

Agree i don't see anybody taking Walls contract either. But you have to be able to do some critical thinking for yourself and not take  everything as presented.  Remember these are rumors not "facts".  So if any part of them wanting to reboot is true. Then unloading Wall by trade deadline isn't a factor into any trade deal they do with the lakers/Pelicans. They still would have the majority of their cap space gone by trading Beal. They can either trade Wall in mid-season or work some sort of contract extention to stretch that money out
