Curious to get thoughts on the role of the conference vs actions of the individual institutions to remedy this. Plus, if I see a school/program that’s doing it right and better than I, I will reach out to get a better feel for their success model. Is this not happening in some cases? It looked like some of our programs were repeat offenders in multiple sports.

That's what i'm thinking . The conference needs a compliance officer who works with all schools to help them stay out of APR trouble. It should be a working group so that everyone lifts each other up

Conference has a compliance officer. Plus the NCAA offers additional money and support, but that still isn't enough.
Bottom line.....most of us should not be at D-1. We just do not have sustainable resources to remain at this level. How many of us are offering full or even partial COA? Little things like this matter when it comes to retention.
