Borrowers could soon be required to pay back their federal student loans directly from their paychecks, if one powerful Republican gets his way.

I don't have a problem with this.  Considering Australia's method, I wonder why we don't already do this already.  Although it doesn't help people suffering under loans from private lenders, perhaps it will encourage people to make more reasonable choices when choosing a college in the first place.  In other words, if you're forced to take a loan from a private lender to afford tuition, maybe you shouldn't attend that college.

You and I both know HBCUs main audience are kids who cant afford schools in the first place. You get rid of the crazy loans the government backs, then you are signing many schools(including black ones) a death sentence.

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support>
