I like the schedule - it's very balanced.  And some very winnable games with the Out Of Conference match ups.

Austin-Peay is in the OVC with Tennessee State. Is that going to be a return game for the Eagles in 2020? Just curious.

Only 1 home game in September.  Glad to see ECSU coming to town.

With the exception of a lack of home Gabe’s, it’s a great schedule.

5 out of the first 6 games are on the road and no close to home except for GWU.  I hate that we keep putting these CIAA schools on our schedule (I like WSSU in 2020).  Those games tell us nothing about good or bad we will be.

I like the CIAA games, but I understand what you are saying.  WSSU next year?  YES!

Why not? Do you think NCCU will stand a better chance of making the playoffs (if NCCU don't make the Celebration Bowl) by playing a straight FCS schedule?

I am not thinking about the FCS playoffs.  Games against ECSU, SAU, Shaw, and Fayetteville State are not exciting games.  They are normally blowout games for us and do nothing to tell us what type of team we will have.

They should be blowout games.  This is good for your team.  It gives the reserves playing time.  Unless we play our second string quarterback.
Fayetteville State by choice. Bronco by the Grace of GOD.

At this point, its obvious that some CIAA schools can beat us... especially Shaw. But that game next year with you birds will be special. The division and records won't mean much in this one.
