The Lincoln University Lions football program announced its 2019 class of signees for the upcoming season.  Lincoln Head football coach Josh Dean and his staff have received NLI commitments from 14 players on the first day of the signing period, addressing several needs as the team prepares for the 2019 season.

"We are very excited about our recruiting class this year," said Coach Dean.  "We wanted to focus on what we call our Lion Zone or Lions Country which is a 100-mile radius from the school. We have over 50% of our signees from the state of Pennsylvania and we did a good job in getting players from the Washington D.C. area."

"We wanted to make sure we could create more of an atmosphere in our backyard.  We feel that a lot of the players we got from the schools, locally will benefit us not in terms of attendance but benefit us as far as developing as a program."

Lincoln's signees for 2019 are listed below.  This list will be updated as verification of additional signees is completed.

Lincoln addressed their needs to replenish its receiving and backfield positions with the majority of those players completing their eligibility last season.  Six receivers, all 6-1 or taller, and three running backs were among the Lions' 14 first day signees.
