Wow!!...........just freaking wow!

klg, had not heard of this sistah until you posted the links^^^, and having now listened to her, she REALLY is the real deal.  :clap:

I always get a tad skeptical when a sistah who sings this music is hailed as the “next” Leontyne Price. Ms. Price is nothing less than a goddess in the opera world, was one of the greatest voices of the 20th century and, arguably, the greatest operatic voice this country has ever produced.......TRULY a boss!!

But it is Placido Domingo, another operatic legend who actually sang with Price, who is now comparing this gal to Price. Well, Ms. Angel is only in her early 30’s, and since most singers reach their “prime” in mid-late 40’s, who knows how far she might go?

Anyway, thanks, klg, for exposing this board to “negro culture”.  ;D
