Keeping my fingers crossed hopefully for a return to SSU/FVSU playing on each other's homecoming in late October.

Me too. Those homecomings were magical.

But honestly you know what else I wouldn’t mind seeing?   FVSU  vs. SSU in a Golden Isles Classic matchup in Brunswick sometime in September.   I really think it would be well attended.  We have played CAU and Edward Waters in the past, but I think SSU would be a fantastic matchup.

It would be cool for Albany State and SSU to play each other again in Macon, Ga for the Music City Classic. That was always a good atmosphere. But I know ASU only had 3 home games last year so it wouldn't surprise me if it's a home and home.

The A.D. is relatively new and probably have to work out the logistics with The 100 Black Men of Macon and ASU.  I can see that happening a few years down the road.  There had to be at least 10,000 at the game.  I can only remember 2 competitive games either the Rams in Macon.  The atmosphere was electric when we were competitive, otherwise it was a washout and boring.  Hopefully, happy days are here again.
