I have not seen us dominate a team like this since the early 90's.  Too bad it will be short lived.

It was a great performance. The defense played hard again tonight. They have some good players on that side of the team. Unfortunately it was not enough to beat Morgan tonight.

If I am correct one more loss will give us 20 consecutive losing seasons dating back to the late 90s. Wanting to be D1 is one thing, but SSU desperately needs to be in d2 with it's peers. There is no sustainable or meaningful metric that supports SSU needing to remain in D!.SSU desperately needs to make amends with the Savannah metro community to gain support.

With that being said incompetent leadership at the top will still hamper SSU in d2. To be honest I don't think the SSU pres knows the difference between NCAA divisions. The worst part of all is that with all of her failures there is a significant group of alum that are providing cover for her at the board of regents. A president with her level of performance at a PWC would have been fired 4 or more years ago.

Leadership is the catalyst in going forward or status quo.  James Ammons  was the change factor in NCCU going D1.  Julius Chambers, his predecessor, seemed not to be athletic minded.  Having a team sufficed for him.  Winning bleeds down to student recruitment, alumni giving  and overall morale on the campus.  FAMU is on the way back and hats off to them. That was a great and exciting comeback  on the tube.  A&T lacks discipline with foolish penalties at crucial times during this contest and let FAMU back into the game. You can't do that with capable teams in the MEAC which isn't top heavy with one.  You got bring it each week. Whoever that President is at SSU, KEEP HER.  Don't want that mess coming this way.

Lol @Thinking  :lmao:

NCCU wouldn’t be ignorant enough to endorse her for a hire.  That’s a silly dumb country negro move.

I see you guys as a little more savvy.
