Offensive line issues? I guess that's why they are using the pistol this season. The disturbing thing is coaches in college football have gone to some form of the spread, which almost 80% of college football uses.

Spread offenses are popular for a reason.  I'm just glad they are trying to chart their own offensive course and not stay on the pro-set, Maynor, train.  It worked for him at WSSU but not a Hampton so it does not work everywhere nor for everyone.

I can understand that, but it's become so cookie cutter to me. I know it's a lot easier to install. I get that. But does everyone have to run it? BTW, if Rams fans are still stuck on the Maynor era , well that's another problem within itself. It's been time to move on from there.

Agreed.  You have to have certain personnel to run a pro-set and its hard to get that at the D2 Level.  I think this offense will help them alot.

I can dig that. I guess I'm a traditionalist. LOL I had the same gripe with my alma mater when they went from Eddie Rob's Wing-T to something else. LOL I guess I need to accept the change.

AGREED! OL/DL is the heart and soul of your team.  As they go, you go.  Its the two places you cannot afford to not have depth.

We signed at least 4 OL.  Obviously they won't arrive until summer/fall.

That's good but unless they are JUCO, they won't be ready to go in the fall.  They at least a year away from contributing.

We gotta throw them in the fire and let them learn while playing. Especially if they are Physically ready..... 10-15 snaps per game.

Yes....if they physically ready.  I don't know if we recruited that kind of lineman.  Lets hope so or it will be a long season for the team and the qbs and rbs.   Oh, let me add (changing subject slightly)  I see where FSU and others in CIAA had spring games, meaning they had enough lineman to have full, game like scrimmages.  We could not.  Are their numbers better than ours?  If yes, why?  This alone does not seem to be a positive trend.

Nothig that you see this Spring will be the same in the Fall. Most of our recruits, like most HBCUs, don't even show-up in the fall or for other reasons never make it on the team. We will have to wait until about two weeks before the season start to know who we really have.
