That’s the reason for not making the trip. You can’t spend money for an extra football game when the governor gave you money. The game should have never been scheduled if ASU wasn’t going to cover the cost.

I guess this is where I am confused. Cheyney is the visiting team. Surely, ASU is paying for the team to come down to the game? So you're saying travel costs was all on Cheyney?

The Hornets are going to have to find a willing and semi-permanent [as nothing is ever 100% permanent] opponent for the TDC. If it isn't going to be Tuskegee NOR Miles, I can't think of another school who will show up ON Thanksgiving Day in full force like the Skegee and Miles did.

Will be interesting to see what the game plan is for 2018...as well as the following years.

GOOD LUCK, HORNETS. HOPE IT WORKS OUT!!!

CU is in bad shape, I hope they survive this rough patch and can start growing the university again.

Well, I won't be going now. Had to plan to drive down and then back to ATL for my 9:30 flight to Bayou with a Cheyney Grad.

Now, we'll just be hitting the Bayou.

If your school ever had the nation's longest losing streak, you can't be considered a football power.
