We know.  Plus they kind of went the other direction after last year's game.

Hopefully this conference can land two teams in the playoffs again.  WSSU,  Bowie,  VSU, and/or Va Union. We shall see...

That's wishful thinking, we're in Region II now along with the SIAC. If the CIAA gets two bids and the SIAC gets one or two bids, that would be four HBCUs in the playoffs from the same region. That will never happen. I think both conferences will get just one bid each. The other five bids from the region will go to the other three PWC's, with the Gulf South getting at least two of those.

There's only 4 conferences in SR2, so that only leaves 2 PWC's.  Albany State already beat Valdosta, VUU already beat Newberry, and WSSU already beat UNCP.  Combined the SIAC and CIAA will get at least 3 schools in.

All your points are valid. I was wrong about there being three PWCs, but you do have to consider the independents like North Greenville, UNCP, and others. The Gulf South has been getting a lot of love from the NCAA in past years. Three teams from our two conferences is possible, but that would be it. It would be hard to imagine that both conferences wouldn't have two deserving teams each. Its still early, so we will have to keep winning and take it out of their hands on the voting.

I think there are seven spots now, up from the six two years ago. I like the CIAA chances on winning this region now that the Gulf South is sucking. It will not be a cake walk, but much better than playing those teams form the Super Region II.
