We have a plugin that lets you embed videos by simply posting the link.

You just enter the link in the post and the software turns it into an embed player.  The only drawback is that you won't be able to see the video player until after you submit the post

Works for me. Just put in the url of the video you want to post.  If the system recognizes the content as video, it will automatically create the player to show it.

This is the same url for a YouTube video we posted earlier.
