This has to be a misprint, because a DI program never travels to a DII school according to some on this forum.

Texas Southern played at Stillman in 2002, SCSU has played at Benedict, and AAMU has traveled to Tuskegee a few times. I don't have a problem with it as long as the stadium can hold our fans and band.

Of late, our games vs AAMU have been more neutral site or road games for us. I think they came to us only once.

At this late in the game, I don't see us playing in the Chicago Classic. The classic website doesn't even have who's playing in the game; our website still has TBA and Ticketmaster hasn't started pre-sale tickets yet. But I don't see us playing at Clark's stadium, because the stadium is too small. But there would be some Atlanta stadium that would accomodate the game. Either in Chicago, or Atlanta, I will be at the game.

AAMU was still technically D2 at that point. They joined the SWAC in 1999.

Jag4Life, their last year in D2 and the SIAC was 1997-98. They joined D1 in 1998 (along with Elon and UC-Davis) and joined the SWAC in 1999. Majority of their 1998 schedule were 1-AA/FCS schools.

Do DII programs pay DI programs to travel to their stadium like it is the other way around???  I hope CAU is paying Grambling to travel that far.

They can't Blue.  They must have misread the NCAA general rule that was once posted on this Board.

JAY has never been in that situation so I can't answer that one.

Do we pay FCS teams to travel to us?
