Is it Me Or.....
« on: December 31, 2016, 02:30:30 PM »
Do OVC opponents of Tennessee State take exceptional glee over beating them? I was just watching Murray St. barely get by the Tigers in a heck of a men's basketball game on CBSSports, and even their COACH was boosted in a manner of a 20 year old kid. Like he daggone sure did not want to lose to that Negro school....

I also remember another school beating TSU in a tough game last year and they looked like they (the winning school and their coaching staff) looked like they were coaching for their LIVES...

I'm just askin' for a friend...  No I'm not.. :tiptoe:

Given that TSU is currently the best team in the conference based on overall record I would say that race has absolutely no part in it.  Well...not really

It's about race.  They can't face the ridicule of losing to a Black school.

They can't handle being called

No PWC at any level wants to lose to a HBCU.

I can go along with that.  It is even for HBCUs like Tuskegee, who has shown they can compete on the national level.  The PWCs probably felt ill after losing to the Golden Tigers, a very good team.  Let's not forget that WSSU got to the national title game a few years ago.

I wonder how did teams feel losing to the Virginia Union women's basketball team in the NCAA tournament even though they had a Michigan State transfer.
