Folks, we can't blame AlbSU for our incompetence!! Our AD needs to be fired. Not only that, it shows the incompetence on the conference level.

I  know people are saying he SHOULD be fired, but my one of my questions is WILL he be fired?

Was it not known that there were only 9 games before the season?  Did anyone inquire about it?   Did his  superiors ask if he attempted to contact anyone, who they were, and when he made the attempt?  Did they request documentation?  Just questions....

There is a saying, "the doer does what the checker checks".   It appears to me He didn't do anything about it because nobody held him accountable for it.  

I'm not really taking up for him either because it was his job to secure a waiver prior to the season and now you have ended up with this clusterf*k.   But even if you had won out, IMO it doesn't absolve him of his error - there is only outrage because they did lose.  

I guess had they won it would have been a no harm no foul situation, but I don't see it that way.

On the other hand you live and you learn I guess.   Let that man feed his family.

The problem VG is that his superiors are equally, if not more incompetent than he is.  Fooling with them, there may not even be a TU, much less trying to schedule football games.

I LOVE Tuskegee, but we don't need to go through the back door to get anything.

Agreed!  Plus, too, I haven't heard anyone from Skegee blaming Albany State at all.  Everyone is furious at our internal incompetence.

There should be no blame placed on Albany State....Va State thats a long way to travel and if we win turn around 5 days later and hit the road again... It won't be the real TU following thats for sure...Ok DC area alumni you got to come down there strong... I doubt the band will be traveling

I agree, Albany State is not to be blamed.  It is incompetence of our AD and the  conference.

I hope there will be a respectable Tuskegee crowd.  I hope the band comes.  Virginia State NEVER comes....even at home.

I was just told it will be Va St at Petersburg so that is so much better...

IMO that doesn't look like a guaranteed win. But you got the game now.

VSU definitely won't be a guaranteed win.

As much as I like TU, I will have to say that if they are needing a sure win to get to the playoffs, VSU want be that win. At best it's a toss-up, with VSU being a very narrow favorite because of home field advantage. This will basically be a playoff game for TU. You better bring your A Game or this will be a Kentucky State repeat. IMO

Actually it doesn't have to be a D2 school, although that does help. 

Tuskegee has already met the 8 D2 game requirement for the playoffs.  They need 10 games total (the game vs. FAMU counts) to be eligible which is the issue.

All I'll  say is if the AD had pull a stunt like this at Southern his walking papers would have been on his desk right after the last game.

naw cant blame a.s.u.,,,this was a cluster from the time stillman dropped football,,( isn't our ad from stillman anyway it seemed he should have known about stillman situation prior to them dropping football) you cant make a scheduled banking on wins before you play the games.

VSU is coming to Tuskegee... I know I know it sounds off. But, my ties with basically the entire defensive coaching staff and even a brief conversation with Barlow in the background confirmed this around 5.
