Game story.......

Brown leads Fort Valley State past Morehouse

Otis Brown threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns Saturday as Fort Valley State topped Morehouse 24-16 in Atlanta.

The Wildcats (3-6) led 17-3 at halftime. Brown’s 19-yard touchdown pass to Christopher Weems with 14:12 to go put Fort Valley State up 24-10, and a 16-play, 88-yard drive by Morehouse that finished with a 2-yard scoring pass to pull Morehouse to within eight points did not leave enough time for Morehouse to score again.

Brown, who also connected with Weems on an 11-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter, had an 8-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter. Juan Serna added a 33-yard field goal and went 3-for-3 on extra-point attempts.

Fort Valley State outgained Morehouse 137-30 on the ground and had more total yards, 303 to 223.

The Wildcats meet Albany State at 2 p.m. on Saturday in Columbus.

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.
