GK, there are options other than democrat and Republican.  What is important is that you vote.  Even if you have write a name in. 

You don't have to be mad to vote for someone that is not a democrat or Republican.  You just have to vote.  Period.

As others have pointed out, we as a people don't have the luxury of "The protest vote" or the "vote on principles" because MOST of the time ONE of the parties has policies that DIRECTLY put us in jeopardy

BTW, I too was a Sanders supporter. Not only did I vote for him, but contributed money to his campaign and spend an evening on the phone doing calls.

I had and have SERIOUS issues with Mrs. Clinton, but NONE of that will stop me from voting for her. 

This is not some existential exercise; this is REAL LIFE, and the stakes could NOT be higher this year.

This election is supposed to be about picking "the lesser of evils." Not exactly the way you want to go about selecting POTUS?  

As of right now I don't favor any of the choices and will probably go with a write in. If the race is close in my state come November I might consider voting for Clinton.
