We're the only race in the world that don't  make a  fuss about OUR children. Then get upset with them when they choose to leave and go somewhere that does.

so it's important to make a fuss over signing a piece of paper vs. actually getting into school and on the team?

Lets jump for joy when they make the team, become academic all americans, graduate...... after all they are students

Well said!

Some of us obviously can do both.

Clearly somebody needs too get out more often. Lasted I checked that's exactly what they do at graduation.

And clearly that's why HBCUS , APRs are so low. Cause we are graduating our players.  ::) ::) ::)

A&T has already lived that nightmare. Again, I celebrate when players get in a uniform and are making progress towards graduation. A lot can happen between now and August

Yeah bruh you're  right. That's what low apr means. We're not graduating our students.

I don't get excited about signing day in regards to HBCU's. Players have to make it to school and Fall practice. When I see the roster and the names match the signing list .... Then we can talk about excitement

I see y'all signed Franklin McCain's grandson. I bet you he will be on campus this summer.

McCain goes to Dudley High School which is about 1 mile from A&T's campus.  If he goes to the Middle College of A&T then he is already on campus.  Those young men can play football at Dudley High.

Hey Slope,

Does Dudley have a list of all the kids that signed yesterday? I saw that the RB ended up at Western Carolina.

I have not seen the full list of the Dudley signees.  I cannot believe Connell Young ("Beast Mode") signed to only go to Western Carolina.  That young man was being recruited by many big time FBS schools.

Yeah I said the same. Something about this don't seem right.

Had offers from ECU and Duke.

He had an offer from Syracuse also.  That was discussed among the fans during games in the regular.  I wonder if his grades were not up to FBS levels.

There is no such thing as fbs level grades. All Division 1has the same criteria.

Now the individual schools may have a higher standard .

I asked around about Connell Young.  He is an A/B Honor Roll student.  Western Carolina told he that he would get a lot of playing time next fall and may even start.  None of the other schools told him that.  Do you remember a few years ago a RB from Dudley went to Florida State?  People told him not to go.  He rode the bench for 3 years before finally transferring to Catawba.
