NCCU has really fallen off. What's going in Durham?

Their game vs. Southern on December 21st should be a good one.

IMO I think this team is trying to gell and figure out some chemistry.  The team is not as consistent as the previous 2 teams.  I was curious to see what game we would be tested and it took place tonight.  I'd be curious to see how the team responds to the loss.  We have some great out of conference games coming up which hopefully will allow them to work on chemistry and allow Patrick Cole to find his place in the rotation.  Looks like Howard will be loaded this year and next year as NCCU was the the past 2 years.  The way things are turning out the MEAC will be competitive this year.

I watched the whole game. As a team, Howard can really shoot the rock and because of that alone I can see them being a force this year in the MEAC.

As for Central, it was poor execution down the stretch. For the most part we played James Daniel well, he got open looks on the majority of his buckets. The buzzer beater was a tough shot. The past few games I've seen the team  settle in a bit more. We'll be ok.

Eagle Fans don't jump off the ship,  and you SWACers and MEACers don't start licking your chops. The Eagles are not dead yet. They played like a rudderless ship. Some one will step up and put the team on their backs.  #11 was deadly, #15 scored about 20 and #20 was the 3rd scorer. We are having problem of defined roles.  And some has to want to shut down the number 1 player on the opposing time.
This is coach M's most challenging teams.

NCCU lost 4 ALL-MEAC players from last year's team.  90% of our scoring graduated.  This is a totally new team.

James Daniels (#11 from Howard) finally had a good game against us.  His 2 previous games against NCCU were not great games for him.  He also has a supporting cast.  The way Howard shoots the ball they will give a lot of teams fits.

I have seen a lot of improvement in this NCCU team so far this year.  Come January I expect to see this team get on a roll.

Central lost at home, wow

In the last 2 season we won 2 games by one point each.  In 2014 we beat Morgan by a point with less than a second left in the game.  Last year we beat Delaware State by a point in a game I think we really should have lost.

LOOK OUT MEAC WE ARE BACK AND READY
