This is the first time in a little bit that I can remember us playing an FCS school this tough. If we play the shoulda woulda game, yeah, we had more than enough chances to take this team out. A missed FG in the first half, possession inside the 5 with a chance to push it in the end zone early in the fourth quarter, and then in the same drive, a bad snap on a 22-yard FG try, ending up in a miss.…

We are lacking a back with decent size to push it in the end zone. We have a good "scatback" in Kendall Jefferson, but we need a Keith Brown (5-9, 205) or Ike Redman (6-0, 235) like we have had in the past that can BLAST IT in the end zone when need be.

Great passing attack. Matt Goggans is looking better these days, and when he has time, he can be lethal. Our wide out Nyme Manns--SICK…6-4, 212 (12 catches, 194 yards and a TD) can catch and run (and he is only a junior)…And we have Gary Cropper and one or 2 other guys..Yeah. If we are firing on most cylinders, we might be a PROBLEM in the CIAA this season. Only time will tell. Defensively I like how we look. Like typical BSU teams, we will smack you dead in the grill and make you feel it, but too many silly undisciplined penalties for my taste. :brick wall: (as usual)… :brickwall:

I am cautiously optimistic for the rest of the season. Can't wait for the home opener this coming Saturday vs. Livingstone!

If my wife lets me, I might have to make that trip. That has the potential to be a great game. The CIAA is looking tough.

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support>
