It's funny how they included the scores of nearby Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech and UGA which a lot more money to afford the resources for student assistance. They are comparing apples to oranges despite being on the same divisional level.

that's all...    :tiptoe:

SSU only has one person in their compliance office and that their Associate AD who also handles game operations duties.

Why is that?

Well they have one of the smallest Division One budgets, if not the smallest budget. But they need to utilize that NCAA Grant money to get more people in their compliance office so they can do a better job of retaining players.

SSU should have stayed in the SIAC. This explains the body bag games year in and year out.

SSU's budget is larger than MVSU's.  The issues with APR compliance is the fault of an inept AD.  When we had a smaller Athletic Administration they did better with the APR's.  SSU knows what's best for SSU.  The MEAC has been better overall for the institution.  BranJ, perhaps you should worry about branding the SWAC.  In essence they are a Division II conference.

Playing those money games is also the genius idea of the inept AD we have.  The SSU posters on this board is aware of the real deal.

I've always looked at SSU as a sleeping giant. If you get the right coach there in the fertile recruiting ground its on. I'm shocked that SSU hasn't gone after one of the big high school coaches in Ga who knows the landscape of the state.

Yeah,

I'm  not  sure  if  we all shouldn't  be  DII.

Some of us should be D3.
This is like buying that big house, then complaining that you can't keep the utilities on. Playing those money games is like working in your rich neighbors yards. You just have to know they are talking about you behind your back. Yet, many of us on this forum, talk down to the HBCU D2s on one thread, then complain that the other D1 schools don't give you enough handouts on another forums. It takes hard work and resources to be among the best, and we generally don't have the resources, nor put in the hard work to get it done. Our sports program reflects the same efforts we put into other areas of our community. We complain that others are doing us wrong, when it is us doing ourselves wrong.

With all the divisive rhetoric on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, websites such as ours, especially message boards, are under the watchful eye of the Internet giants. And those giants are coming down hard on sites like this one due to the perception of the need for better "oversight".

We recognize the cultural conflict that exists and over the past few months we've been accused of allowing content in posts/threads that supposedly violates some advertiser's policies. Those threads weren’t an issue in the past, but for some reason, they are an issue now. And we are being penalized (financially) because of it.

As a result we are coming to you directly for your financial support>
