bigram$, I understand your point.  Presidents and Congress have come home to sewage for decades.  This ain't the first time they owe the lawn service.  The crap is at the ceiling.  Again.

This is true we need to work on the problem it needs to be addressed

Politics / Re: Liberal Iowa Newspaper That Backed Obama Now Endorses Romney
« on: December 19, 2011, 08:36:40 AM »

The newspaper did infact endorse Romney .....

but not OVER OBAMA

this endorsement was out of all the GOP NOMINEES not a general election endorsement ...also since barack Obama is not running for a nomination to run he's not searching for endorsements....

maybe im just reading your headline wrong but it seems like you are implying that the paper endorsed Romney over Gingrich

here is the article next time just quote the paper not newsmax who has obvious bias

Here's another way to look at the Debt Ceiling:

Let's say, you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood. Your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings.

What do you think you should do? ……

Raise the ceilings, or pump out the s**t?

Your choice is coming Nov. 2012

You do understand that this is not an actual portrayal of what the debt ceiling is....

A better analogy would be you hired a lawn care service for your home he agrees to do keep your lawn cut and landscaped all year with payment coming in December.....

on thanksgiving you realized that you agreed to more services then you had money for so do you

A) tell the lawn care service guy to go f**k himself and be taken to court and possibly ruin your credit

B) Pay the guy for services rendered

Sidebar...this is the problem with our political debate you cant argue facts you can only argue OPINION

Well read the article and answer that question yourself.
Again....let's try to stay on track here......I'm talking about MY situation....not someone else. You stated I made it up to win an arguement which is not so. Your articles can state all the figures they want....they don't pertain to are you calling me a liar? GO VIKINGS!!!

I dont think anyone is calling you a liar i think wats happening is u r saying ur premiums have doubled people are showing YOU evidence where ins cost are dropping in areas ..... acually armin you with information maybe one of these may be your carrier hta way u can go to you employer and say " i have evidence that the premiums have gone done why is my contribution going up?"

UC welcome back

if unions represent the working man why shouldnt Obama bow to them they are everyday working people...the backbone of america

This could be another (small) category of swing voters.

Added to the 85% rule (percentage of premium that must go toward actual health care) which has already reduced insurance premiums of Aetna in Conn, citizens are beginning to see the benefits of ObamaCare.

HEY HEY HEY My brother stop injecting facts into this conversation ...... i need some opinion from a biased source

Atlanta (CNN) -- About 2.5 million young people have received health insurance coverage as a result of health care reform measures that President Barack Obama signed into law last year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported Wednesday.
About 2.5 million more people, aged 19 to 25, have health insurance than had it before the law took effect because of a provision that lets young adults remain on their parents' insurance plans through age 26, the agency's National Center for Health Statistics said.
"Moms and dads around the country can breathe a little easier knowing their children are covered," Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said in a statement.
