Sports Forum / What's Going On in the MEAC/NFL Officiating Program
« on: October 15, 2014, 09:16:49 AM »
Since the merger between the MEAC and NFL, some problems are creeping up this season.  It's seems that some new officials weren't ready for HBCU Football and you let go numerous veteran officials with this NFL take-over.  Morale amongst the officials are at a all-time low.  Replay officials and field officials being suspended or fired.  Conference calls, butt chewing sessions from the boss to the Coordinator of Officials have been very heated.  Money, money, money can't buy you love.  Be careful of what you ask for Dr. Thomas. Who was that LJ, that don't recognize a fumble in the Howard game, when it happens.  Maybe in the pre-game you can get KY to donate some crème, when tightness effects you.  Don't worry OW, Freedom of Information Act allows us to gather information.  It's all good, have a great week MEAC, your schools deserve better from the money that they spend on officiating.  Maybe Rosey Amato wasn't that bad of a Coordinator.  Oh, yeah Not For Long (NFL).

Sports Forum / NFL Football Officiating Is Getting To Technical

Has anyone notice the rash of penalties in the NFL Pre-season games. Too many dam flags takes away from the game.  Why not play flag football?  Roger Goodell, you need to take control of your soft arse officials.  The MEAC has gone NFL this season.  They dropped 50% of last year's staff and put some green arse cucumbers in there slots.  Good Luck MEAC/NFL Football Officials.

The MEAC, SIAC and the SWAC allows their bands to really jam in the stands doing football games.  Bowie State's Band had a really good time down in Columbia, SC last Thursday Night without the  CIAA silly band rule.  The NCAA Football Rule allows the bands to play while the ball is alive, what's wrong with our league changing their course.  C'mon Dr. Burnim, help us out in the CIAA with a change that we can enjoy at our games.  Your band director will surely love it and so would other CIAA Bands and Fans.

On the Sidelines and In The Stands / Why Do The CIAA Hate Bands Playing?
« on: September 25, 2011, 11:29:08 AM »
I've attended two MEAC Football games this season already.  Both bands were jamming good stuff during live ball play.  The Aggies and the Sound Machine bands had the place during the wobble in the stands.  The officials, all teams kept playing the game.  Down in Death Valley, Clemson yesterday, the place was wild, the band and the crowd cheering along with FSU Seminoles War Chant was all the way live.  So tell me Mr. Kerry, what's up with the bands playing during live ball in the CIAA?  The crowds are few and the play is good.  Let the Bands play and enjoy the dam game.   The NCAA Rule doesn't penalize the bands from playing during live ball play.  What's up CIAA?  AND THE BANDS PLAY ON FOR HBCU FOOTBALL.   MOST CIAA BANDS TOTAL A NIFTY FIFTY (50) IN SIZE.  TESTING YOUR PRIVACY ACT OW ON THIS BLOG.  LET THEM PLAY, LET THEM PLAY, HELL AT FSU, AT LEAST SOMEBODY WILL BE PLAYING SOMETHING GOOD.  LOL
