The more that comes out about this, screams to purposefully mishandling. It seems as if they wanted this leaked to press before/runoff but someone got wind of it and went looking for them, found them and self reported. Which is the correct action, keep in mind they did not have to, because they were not missing. They were not being looked for. These documents are from his VP years, two presidencies ago.

I think most do not understand how the Federal Law works; therefore most think Garland is weak. The main difference is Garland does not leak or create a narrative, he do not give in to the media and make a press conference out of everything.  He is METHODICAL in approach. Law is about methods, practice, and sound judgement. Move to quick, bow to pressure and your case is lost before it make it to the courtroom. A sound lawyer never brings a case unless he has sound, concrete evidence. In this follow the media/social media frenzy, you better be glad for a steady hand. Garland is boring, but he is good. He is exactly what Biden needs, a flashy, over the top AG would be more of a problem. Biden needs a better WH PR team.

I do think that Obama should have nominated a black judge, and let Mitch them  go against that. It was easy to go against Garland.

I like Ga. football to a degree.  However. their deep pocket boosters do not want a black qb.  Look how they did DJ Shockley and Justin Fields.

Jake Fromm was God awful, and they would not play Fields.
At least he and his parents  got the hell out of dodge and let that talent ride the pines for 4 years.

Rather than transfer, Shockley ruined his chances to go pro by sitting on splinters.

As much as I am GA FAN, I concur with you 100%.  Shockley should have transferred, his dad messed that up for him.

It was not much different when Quincy Carter was QB at UGA.

You are correct, and I hated that he went to the NFL way too early. He needed more development.

I feel you on this one, we gonna agree to disagree on Bennett, because he got the job done when the others did not.

Let's be real, some of you all do not even support your own HBCU conference schools, think you are better them. I can count the oh so many times AUC schools have looked down, not supported, rooted for or been friendly to my Alma Mater, and honesty transparency I do not root for them either.

Now, if you do not like UGA that is your right, but do not come in here acting all different.

I guess this is directed towards me. How am I acting different and you don’t even KNOW ME.  I guess you’ve been holding that in for awhile. It took a PWI  championship to get it off your chest.  I can’t stand the Dawgs, and most folks who have paid attention to my post over the yrs know this. 
You telling grown folks how to act is rich.

Don't give yourself that much credit. My dislike for the AUC predates you. I consider you Onnidan nouveau riche.

I do not trust the polling on this first of all, because it just doesn't correlate to the current state of the Republican Party. There is no GOP platform, no current message that appeals to anyone outside of the base, data shows, along with imagery where the Republican party has grown and that fact correlates. Had this been the GOP of the old, I could say ok. If any of this is true, it is SINGULAR in nature. It is all about OPPORTUNIST, i.e. Vernon Jones method. You lack the credentials to ascend in the Democratic Party so you switch over to GOP, where you go against your own, just to prove your worth. Instead of standing on principle.

Every administration keeps kicking the can down the road to the next administration instead of just tackling the situation head on. Instead of legislating the situation they ALL have made it a partisan issue. We need to shut the borders, get this under control, put in the proper controls and LEGISLATE. We cannot be two things at one.  Yes, there are racial undertones, but the crux of the problem is nothing is in place. We have created a humanitarian issue by not securing and enforcing our own borders. This should be an easy fix, but way too many are worried about optics then legislation.

Right, and I don't think they understand the plight of our schools in the state. In most hires in the state, they want to either have someone in place in January or after the fiscal year which would be the end of June going into July. I would like to know who were the other candidates.

exactly that is the process...I am not used to anything other than that. You did a national search in less than 30 days if this is the hire. Someone is leaking and that usually do not happen for us GA HBCUs, we either know or we have to wait.

I totally disagree with this article; some valid points were made in the article, and they stated some facts that many have glossed over. The article itself, was Wheatley's attempt to get into the Deion Sanders vs HBCU conversation, whereas everyone who DID NOT ATTEND is now an HBCU EXPERT! I will come back to that point.

LMAO, I was actually waiting for you to get him on that point. One thing about j1908, you going let them have it coming out the side of their neck talking about HBCUs and did not attend. That is a non-starter for you.

Strike, I see you don't follow nor understand the dynamics at play at Albany State and the Georgia State HBCUs for the reason of my response of a few of our shock IF this hire is indeed factual. I think it would be a good hire, but it is quick. That's part of the shock as well.
