Yes there are 2 books left to go, and given his writing pace track record, I expect I'll be retired by the time he finishes them both

I LOVE the audiobooks, which has turned into my method of choice for consumption because I spend so much time on the road.

The Expanse is the better of the two series to be converted to TV in my opinion, and the writers are part of the production crew.

What did you think of The Magicians Trilogy? How did you like the ending?

I liked the Trilogy. I also liked that it actually has an ending (lately these series have gone on and on and on and on ad nauseum. I like a story to begin, build, and end).

I never got around to the Dresden Files. My I'll check it out after I finish The Expanse....

Meanwhile STILL waiting on George to finish the next Ice and Fire (i.e. Game of Thrones) book.

I finished the Magicians books but I still haven't watched the show

However....

The Expanse books look to definitely be ON POINT!!

I'm reading the first one now (Leviathan Wakes).  Very good read so far! I won't even try to watch the show until I read the books, and there are several out there so far.

You're double dipping.

In the end, the owner lost $30 in cash, and $70 worth of goods for a total of $100 dollars

They have to do this because the cable cutting, and/or cable slashing has gotten REAL!! Bare bones packages with no long term contract is a must or they will lose customers.

I cut off Direct TV last year, and went with Sling, which is an internet streaming TV subscription (viewable on ROKU, Fire Stick, Apple TV, phones tablets...) which has the bulk of the channels listed for around that price. No contract required, cancel anytime with no penalty.

My internet is with AT&T so I might hit them up to see what they have to offer that beats what I'm paying now (with no contract).

I also have a Netflix, Hulu, and amazon prime subscription, but I will have those regardless.

North Greenville made it into the playoffs with a 7-4 record... must been contributed to strength of schedule.

Yeah, had to be. Seems kind of odd that a 4-loss team made the playoffs.

One of their losses is to the Citadel which doesn't count for D2 purposes.  Their other losses are to playoff teams (UNC Pembroke, Newberry, and UNA) so they do have a very good Strength of Schedule, and from what I've heard it's one of the best in the country.

Interestingly, we have beaten 2 of the teams they've lost to (for whatever that's worth).

VSU has a pretty dynamic offense. Thy're gonna zone read you to death.  I though we had contained it in the first half pretty much but they got loose in the second half! That #25 they have is as fast as lightning, and on Defense #1 Fagan was all over the field making tackles.  If they played a little better defense they would probably be heading to the playoffs this year.

For our part I was very encouraged to see Ezell's play. He was composed and made good decisions.  Unfortunately Lacey was off again.  He started the season off so well but seemed to regress as the year went on. We had only 3 penalties the whole game!!! And we didn't have the stupid turnovers that have plagued us all year. All of those things are encouraging as we head into the playoffs.

Special Teams play HAS to be better!!!

The private school vs state school hound does not hunt. The rules of the conference govern everyone no matter which. So please stop THAT nonsense...

Actually yes it does hunt, and has been an ISSUE for awhile with the State Schools.  However, I do not think it is the issue in this situation.
 It is not nonsense though. The SIAC is slighted toward the Private Schools. We just have to agree to disagree on this matter.

I'm just curious. How is the SIAC slighted toward Private Schools?

I don't think there is any rule that says 2 teams can't play twice during the regular season. It just doesn't happen normally. This situation isn't normal.

After sputtering all night on offense TU finally puts a drive together at the end to score the go ahead TD with 1 minute left. Miles missed 4 long field goals in the game.
