This article reminds me of a column Steven A. Smith wrote when he was at Winston-Salem State about Big House Gaines. Most of what he wrote might have been true, but coming from your own school paper, it could have been a lot more respectful. Same rule applies here.

"If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

Obviously it did make a sound. Sacrifice is never celebrated. She chose religion over material things..nothing wrong with that.

Offense: C
Defense: B-
Special Teams: C Very inconsistent
Coaching: B

There are a lot of things that could have gone better, namely the QB position. Starting 0-4 really put us behind the 8-ball and the offense, except the loss to Louisiana-Monroe, had chances to win each game we lost, but couldn't deliver when it counted. Hopefully with the recruits we have coming in, Coach Fobbs will be able to turn things around next season.

I tried the A&T ticket office website Tuesday and was not successful. I better get on Ticketmaster.

I believe the tickets by the band are probably gone.

All I know is if those stands are not Packed something is wrong.  Each year I hear about it being sold out and nothing in the stands.

That's only because the scalpers are scooping up tickets and trying to sell them at high value. I see them out there every year I have come to the Celebration Bowl and folks aren't going for it. :lmao:

Hmmm, that's a new one for me because I have never heard of the Celebration Bowl being sold out.  All tickets are electronic so folk should certainly stay away from anyone scalping tickets outside the stadium.

That's true in most cases, but I did see people print out paper tickets as well. I'm certain by now, that Mercedes Benz Stadium is going toward all-electronic tickets, but I could be wrong.

Celebration Bowl tickets on the MEAC side are going fast.  N.C. A & T's allotment of tickets went on sale Tuesday morning and by Tuesday evening they were sold out.  I'm online now looking at tickets and it appears that tickets on the MEAC side of the stadium through the horseshoe are almost gone.  Hopefully, this bowl game will have record attendance this year.

That's a good thing. I may have made a mistake in waiting to see it my Grambling Tigers make it in before I decided to buy my tickets (although higher than I wanted), but I'm coming whether my Tigers get in or not.
