Not sure if this is a nccu specific thread or not, but I've been pleased with A&T's band. I've seen it bigger, but it's about right as far as I'm concerned. The music selection and shows have been good, and performances in the stands have been impressive. I haven't heard any complaints for other Aggies.

What are you guys upset about? Is it size, performance, or a combination.

My only issue with A&T is the bands facilities...our facilities when it come to supporting the arts could use improvement.

Would it be wrong if me to say I hope they can't raise the funds? Are the asking alumni directly for help?

I just don't get this move by Talladega.

Not that it makes a difference, but WSSU has played six of those schools at some point.

Was it when you guys were DI? If so, how many of the games did you win?

Wow, it was many years ago, but my high school principle was very different. He was a HBCU grad (Fay State) and he directed us to HBCUs. I'll never forget that time I got caught sneaking off campus. I was making my way to my car when he caught me. We started discussing my college plans and that I planned on majoring in engineering. He told me there were four programs in the state....NCAT, NCSU, UNCC, and Duke. Then he looked at me and was like " you going to A&T right !!"

I've been in a few gun stores in my day...and the owners/workers are always packing...but apparently this place had been hit several times. I used to go to a barber that had his weapon on his hip. I guess his shop had been robbed before and he wasn't taking any chances.

I find it hard to get into some of these shows. What ever happened to the plot and character development.

Sometimes it seems they just want to shock me and hope I keep watching.

Often times I turn switch the station thinking to myself..."I'm not down with that".

It is indeed embarrassing.

It should be an honor to be a part of the inauguration. People won't even hold their nose and participate out of respect for the office.

Trump comes out of that world yet can't get any of his "friends" to sign on.

It's going to be a long four years.

I agree B4L

I mean I guess I get the sentiment, but DQ took swift action and the location is now closed.   Why have the March? I thought the the purpose of a March would be to bring attention to the problem and request action - but action was already taken.

I could be missing something, so somebody help me out if need be.  I'm open to listening.

Marching is what "we" seem to do Valley Girl. DQ took action and wanted no parts of this owner. Are they bringing attention to the fact that racism exits...we know that. Maybe the local community needs to vent. I for one am sick of marching.

^^^^this^^^^

I ain't mad at Kim Burrell for believing what she believes, but just as she has the right to believe it...other people have the right to disagree. This was just a consequence...if she felt that way about homosexuals why even appear on the show. It ain't like Ellen hiding it.

I believe in a powerful god...I'm sure he'll handle it, so imma stay outta folks business.

Damn !  I shouldn't be shocked, but damn! That dude has been taking black peoples money for years...may even have black people working there.

This stuff is just so deep rooted...just makes me wonder how many people I interact with daily feel the same way.

Going after a young woman and a 3 year old child...punk a--.

All that said, I'd rather have these people be exposed.

In the past decade, annual football expenses at a typical FCS school have increased from less than $2 million to $3.5 million. In the same period, revenue has expanded from $430,000 to $1 million. Middle-of-the-road FCS programs—a division that includes University of Maine, Colgate, Portland State—are losing millions on football altogether.

The revenue increase have come as a result of the "beat down" games no doubt.

Well damn, how many schools y'all got in Georgia and how spaced out are they? Seems like like y'all merging a few every year.

Prior to the mergers, there were 34 state supported higher ed institutions governed by the GA Bd of Regents.  The Technical College System is an entirely different entity.

34 state supported schools...that pie is sliced too many ways. It's hard enough for HBCUs to get funding as it is.
