I see that we still don'tget any respect. We are the Homecoming Queen for ASU's homecoming this year. I guess we will have to put on our Big Boy drawers again this year.
Actually, you’re not. Their Homecoming Game is Sept 26, not Oct 31.
That’s rough though - Miami and Homecoming in the same month.
Seems like the 24th would make more sense. I don’t really like early homecomings, but it ain’t me so

One of my Sorors ended a friendship over this.
Apparently ol girl had been perpetrating that she was my Soror for decades. Well her husband wanted to throw her a surprise birthday party and solicited the help of my REAL Soror to reach out to her Line Sisters and have them come to her party. Well it was at that moment that she was told that her buddy did NOT pledge at that school and is indeed a perp.
She confronted ol girl and she fessed up that she wasn’t a member. Her husband was PISSED, and my Soror was very hurt. The lady was very apologetic, but that friendship had seen its last days - no reason for you to lie about something like that.
She notified the Sorors in the area and national headquarters / then she gathered all of her paraphernalia and sent it to National Headquarters.
Most of the time perps tell on themselves. There are certain things you just know if you’ve pledged and it will come out in conversation.
But my friends who are my Sorors are my friends - we don’t sit around talking about sorority stuff all day. We talk about life, and sorority business stays in chapter meetings. I guess I could see how ol girl slipped under the radar.
Wonder how her marriage is doing. That was an unnecessary lie and her man is probably questioning everything she ever told him - if you’ll lie about something that small what else are you lying about?

I’ve never felt the Bern. Didn’t feel it in 2016 and don’t feel it now.
I just listen to his plans and think to myself, “who in the hell is gonna pay for all of this stuff?” It sounds good enough, but it doesn’t have a snowball chance in hell of passing through Congress.
I also don’t think America is ready to elect an old Jewish man with heart problems and expensive ideas.
Centrist candidates tend to fare better with independents.
I don’t see him winning a general election, but I’ll hold my nose and vote for him should he win.
Tomorrow will be telling.

This was so predictable. Same with Booty.... Dem-O-Craps are scared to death of a Bernie Presidential Candidacy....
Why do you keep talking about a gay man's backside?
My thoughts exactly.
Either he is is low key obsessed or is prevaricating like a lot of dementia patients do.

See, J, you are waaaaayyyyyyyyy better a person than I.....I would wage some serious psychological warfare on her....
Had she rolled to me with that, I would have told her, “no, you get what you pay for. Unless you want some booty stank design help, then go on gurl and pay that $75/hr fee. That’s the difference in a lace front and them weaves you be getting in sister girls living room after work.....”
87, I kind of did that. I told her it was much cheaper than what I paid for mine. She said "really". Of course I didn’t tell her how much mine was.
Just like when we were discussing Drs. I told her all my Drs were AA. She wanted the name of my dentist. I told her he moved ( he didn’t). LOL
She's different. Every week, she has a different hairstyle. Started talking to me about hair, one day. I asked her " Why are we having a conversation about hair? Her reply, I don't know.
The other week, she said she wrote letters for her mom and daughter to join a grad chapter in Memphis.
She must not be affiliated with a another Greek org and isn’t a Delta then, because we can’t write letters for family members.
Bridget Fonda comes to mind (Single White Female)

He’s a person of interest at this point. He’s been charged with slashing her tires and busting the window to her apartment for now, but he’ll be charged with murder once the crime lab info has been processed.
That negro probably did it. She texted her friend that she was going to meet him - she told him she wanted to focus on her and she couldn’t be with him anymore. The body was found not far from his aunt’s property, and the last place she was seen was at the house of her ex boyfriends aunt.
When it’s all said and done I think they will have all of the evidence they need.
He didn’t know when to let go.

Baby girl didn’t deserve this. She just didn’t. I’m devastated. I’ve been in knots since Saturday praying for her safe return, but alas she’s gone.
This is happening way too much for my liking. It’s got to stop.
The bastard that did this I hope you rot in hell!

- especially not that dull behind Benz stadium.
Stop trying to put that Voodoo that You do on Mercedes Benz Stadium...
I’m no witch, I just know displacing an historic church - one that probably had graves around it that you probably didn’t move - isn’t the best idea
Not my fault it’s dull and dreary.

The problem with Columbus is that the modern day student who largely grew up in larger metro areas don’t get excited about going to a game there. Columbus doesn’t have the same appeal to Tuskegee / Morehouse students and alums that it does to Albany St. and Ft. Valley State students/ alums for obvious reasons.
Skegee-Morehouse really needs to be a home and home game, period, end of discussion!!! If Skegee plays in Birmingham, then it needs to be a SWAC opponent like AAMU, Southern, JSU, Grambling. If the game is in Atlanta, then it leans more to a MEAC opponent like FAMU, Howard, or SCSU. A&T and TnSU would also be good possibilities for Atlanta.
All 4 schools have a significant amount of students that grew up in larger metropolitan areas.
Is that why it’s more appealing in your estimation? Or is it that they have more students from locations where football isn’t a thing?
FVSU and ASU students find Columbus exciting because the atmosphere is electric. Tailgaters extend from the Civic Center all the way back to the back of Victory Drive, vendors, people partying and having a great time, a game between two heated rivals - they make it a party whenever the two match up.
You put FVSU vs CAU, ASU vs Miles etc in Columbus it wouldn’t be as appealing to every one.
The draw is the natural rivalry not the location per se. Move FV vs Albany to Atlanta you’d still get great numbers. Just doesn’t make sense to move it that’s all. - especially not that dull behind Benz stadium.

Da'House fan base for away games is very VERY small.
The Skegee-House Classic in Birmingham will never get the numbers of the MCC, sad to say. I actually prefer the game in the smaller venue of McClung Stadium in Columbus. Our side in Legion field will look like ants inside of an nfl stadium Just stating what we all already know. And unfortunately, OUR students really do not care about the Skegee-House Classic unlike A&M and State's students who definitely show up for the MCC. Even our alumni barely show up for it.
I don’t think they’re expecting to get MCC numbers - nobody in their right mind would think that - they’re just looking for a nice payday.
I thought Morehouse traveled pretty decently. Didn’t realize that.
But you know what they say - start winning consistently and they’ll flock there and stay.

VG, what do you think about the BillyGoats/Wildcats game being in the Mercedes Benz Stadium?
Nope. It we move it, we should just go back to home and home.
Atlanta is too busy trying to accommodate SWAC/MEAC Classics and the like. They aren’t checking for us like that.
Besides I HATE the Mercedes Benz Stadium. Just dull and dreary. God ain’t pleased with how they moved that church - and the graves weren’t moved I don’t think.
Naw - dead spirits lurking all around. Y’all can have it.
