Put yourself in the coach’s shoes. You want to recruit player and bring them to a campus that is trashy. They showing them the practice complex.  What happens when the parents come visit the campus if things are not maintained?  How upset would you be?

I question if there was even any trash on the campus. Why didn't he record it?

FACT SHEET: The Biden-Harris Administration’s Historic Investments and Support for Historically Black Colleges and Universities
President Biden’s FY22 budget request for the Department of Education includes a total of $807 million in discretionary funding to HBCUs, an increase of $72 million over last year’s funding level, which will substantially increase key HBCU funding streams to support research, infrastructure, and student support services, amongst other programming.

Key word infrastructure.  I am sure they could have completed the practice track with some of those funds.

So, oldp you want to use those funds to support athletics for a possible coach that does not give a chit about the school he wants to work at.....

This is what it all boils down to with respect to the rhetoric Prime, Uncle Luke and others are spewing. The Biden funds, in part, were to help with the amount of reduced revenue many of our schools saw during Covid. These clowns want a portion of that revenue allocated to athletics, specifically football.

3
Coach  Prime was correct about doing an audit of the school because you might find some funds are not allocated properly.

SACSCOC audited JSU in 2021 during our reaccreditation process. The state audits JSU and every public university annually.

You and everyone who has been regurgitating Prime's bullsh*t look foolish and without access to simple wifi and Google.

WTH was your point in posting this video?

Also, a lot of the ninjas over our universities are political, which is the reason why they were chosen. And speaking of bad infrastructure, the water crisis continues at JSU.

That's a city issue which is effecting Belhaven, Hinds and Mississippi College as well. Cut it out.  ::)

Okay, but it still continues to effect your alma mater.  Maybe JSU alumni need to pull a January 6th on Mississippi state house.

We have already applied for a federal grant to have our own water system, similar to the other public universities. We will be fine. At the end of the day, the water issue is a city/state issue that is effecting 4 universities and a Black metropolitan area.

Battle for first place in what?

In men's basketball in the SWAC.

JSU and Southern MBB are the only undefeated teams in the SWAC.

Grambling was too until today's defeat by Southern.

No, they weren't. They lost to PV.

SAU is under financial distress and was recently placed on probation for 12 months by SACSCOC.

I am certain they will disband their football program for a while to get things in order. If memory serves me well, this happened to St. Paul's College before they closed their doors.

My condolences to the Norfolk State University family on the passing of legendary Emery Fears of Tuskegee, AL. He was 97 years old. Such a true legend among the HBCU band community. Enjoy this recent interview of Emery Fears:

I have not been a fan of UNC or LSU in years; havent even watched any of their games in quite some time. Like many of us, I woke up and realized they do not need my support. I will always use my platform to celebrate and promote JSU and all HBCUs. This isn't the first time you've seen me speak about Black folks waving their SEC flags.

I love the smell of hypocrisy in the morning.

that's all...

I'm just here to help.

In conclusion, many of us have our favorite sports teams that we grew up watching in college or professionally. Hell, DRUMMA1 is a North Carolina Tar Heels fan, but yet, come on here trying to be this black voice of reason. And he doesn't want me to go down the history of the University of North Carolina AT Chapel Hill and their discrimination with our people. ::) Again, my money and my service is Fort Valley State University, FIRST, and all other HBCUs second.

that's all...

Man, cut it out.

It is disturbing and ridiculous at the amount of informed, HBCU-educated Black folks in GA and Alabama who are diehard SEC fans given the history of those schools. Victims of the Holocaust cheer and attend schools like Yeshivia University, not the ones whose ancestors..never mind. This is why I'm convinced it's borderline witchcraft.

I probably should have been more specific. The Black folks from outside of Atlanta are "different", as are most of the ones in Alabama. The love and support for white spaces and institutions compared to their disdain for Black spaces and institutions is sickening.

That is a lie. I was born and raised in Georgia and not to many of my childhood friends are crazy about Georgia. Now the Falcons and you on top something. If it ain't the Falcons, Hawks or Braves ain't no love. Now them south Georgia folks different.

I thought this was an HBCU forum.  :nono2:

We're not talking about God's Plan, Deion Sanders. We've moved on. ::)

#GoDawgs

that's all...

Black folks from GA and AL sure do love their banjo-playing, toenail-biting PWIs. At this point, I'm convinced it's witchcraft.

If I’m going to watch college football I pull for my home state even if I don’t like them as much as i like my HBCU. Dam sho ain’t gon pull for Bama, LSU when I can pull for my own home state. It’s racist Georgia first then racist everyone else afterwards.

That ain't it, Chief.

White folks have definitely done a number on us.
