 - The President got asked a question about blm, and he answered it, and if he had not responded, there would be the usual President haters, saying he dodged the question. As far as she calling the President irrelevant, she should look in the mirror, and see just how relevant she and blm is to black people?,,, no relevance at all.

Politics / Re: Did Blacks Really Endorse the 1994 Crime Bill?
« on: April 15, 2016, 12:46:32 AM »
The relationship between the democrats and the Black community has out lived its usefulness.  We really have to look at issues and policy more strategically.

- Ans JROB, how do you propose black people do this, regardless of what people think and complain about, the USA is still a two party country,,, blacks voted with republicans up and into the Eisenhower admin, then southern stragity took over in the republican party, and today is what led up to trump and the republican party. So, you have two choices,,,, Vote, Don't Vote.,,, if you don't vote, then don't complain later. And by-the-way, BLM has no solutions nor will it/they be a factor in this Presidential race :dedhorse:

Politics / Re: NRA TO ISSUE A STATEMENT ON FRIDAY
« on: December 20, 2012, 05:58:21 AM »
Strike, the president will do nothing about this shooting.  This so-called task force is just a smoke screen.  It will not require anyone to lock up their weapons when they are not in use.  It will not keep anyone from stealing weapons and going on a mass killing.

We all know this sham task force will not stop Blacks from killing Blacks.
???..............I thought this thread was about the impending NRA statement on the Newtown killings.  When did it morph into a discussion about President Obama's recently announced task force on gun violence?  My first response in THIS thread was a detailed analysis/refutation of your suggestion that the weapon(s) Mr. Lanza used to MURDER those babies was "stolen".

If you either are unprepared or INCAPABLE of responding to THAT post, please say so, and stop this idiotic notion of yours to divert and obfuscate.  While you routinely have done that with others on this board, I thought you understood that your humble poster could see RIGHT THROUGH that ruse of yours.

Boy, I thought I had TRAINED you well.  Obviously, I need to set new examples.

C'mon, y, stop making a FOOL of yourself, motivated mainly by your disdain for President Obama.  Your boy Romney got his A.Z.Z kicked.  The election is over, bruh.

Give it up!!!

Meet Sen. Tim Scott: The Tea Party Lawmaker Who Wanted To Impeach President Obama And Kick Kids Off Food Stamps

By Scott Keyes on Dec 17, 2012 at 9:46 am

Tim Scott is America’s newest senator today after getting tapped by South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) to fill the vacancy left by former Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC). DeMint announced this month that he was leaving the Senate to head up the Heritage Foundation, an arch-conservative think tank in Washington DC.

Though DeMint left big, controversial shoes to fill for Republicans, few conservatives will be disappointed with Scott’s record. Elected to Congress just two years ago in the Tea Party wave, Scott has already garnered headlines for his plan to impeach President Obama, his legislation to cut off union members’ children from food stamps, and his defense of Big Oil.

Here’s a quick look at Scott’s record:

Floated impeaching Obama over the debt ceiling.

.....

Proposed a bill to cut off food stamps for entire families if one member went on strike.

.....

Wanted to spend an unlimited amount of money to display Ten Commandments outside county building.

.....

Defended fairness of giving billions in subsidies to Big Oil.

.....

Helped slash South Carolina’s HIV/AIDS budget.

.....
???.............uhhhh, forgive me, but those of you who would like for me and others to think that this "person" is such a swell guy either did NOT read this^^^^post from a blog that EB posted yesterday, or have simply chosen to IGNORE it.

This "person," Mr. Scott, is a typical, REACTIONARY, negro politician who has advanced his career by espousing policy that is anathema to not only MOST black folks, but to FORWARD THINKING Americans everywhere.  For God's sake, he was chosen to succeed Jim Demint, who, by ANY indicia of measurement is no friend of the negro.  :(

As for the suggestion that, oh, you know, dude just says all of this stuff "publicly," but behind closed doors he is one of "us".  Oh, yeah, well, the SAME was said about Bush I's nomination of a black Supreme Court justice to replace Thurgood Marshall.  And we ALL have observed the VERY extreme, right-wing opinions of THAT justice over the last 20 years.

Naaah, I am standing FIRM on my initial assessment of this "person".  He will take his seat in the US Senate under the presumption that he is there to stymie the progress of blacks and other non-whites, and otherwise do the bidding of the far-right wing in the GOP.

I would LOVE to be proven otherwise.  But I'm fairly certain that I will not.

God bless us all.  :(

Politics / Re: frustrated Blacks 'might not vote at all' in 2012
« on: August 23, 2011, 02:51:24 AM »
Don't disagree - but we need a workforce that can (1) read and follow instructions; (2) not have a felony conviction; and (3) be able to pass the piss test. We could see a drop in the unemployment rates if enough folks were able to do the above... tiptoe

- "WORD"

This has been going on for several years now - particuarly at some state schools. If the PWCS are actively recruiting our kids and have set asides, etc., we must do the same - particularly if we want to keep receiving state/federal funding...

- Exactly,,, don't have a problem with it at all.
