I stand by my previous post.

I have read the entire brief. All the people involved should be fired.

Don't be too hard on A & T.  Ryan Day is in trouble with Ohio State alumni for having lost the last two games with Michigan.

Indeed I do. Norfolk was Little State. Big State has no intention of ever joining the MEAC. They already play Norfolk, Virginia Union is just up the road in Richmond, Shaw, St Augustine's and Elizabeth City are all in northern North Carolina. I can't say that I blame them.

In my younger days, I worked briefly at Virginia State College now university. People were always asking me "how do you like it up herel I had come straight from Atlanta and I would ask them "what do you mean up here". They would say "well it's not the deep south". When a Indian colleague and I integrated a high class restaurant, someone said to me one of us was even seen at ...last night. I said yes, that was me and Sanjay. On a college graduation cruise with my youngest child and only daughter five years ago, a black couple my age from Virginia lanched on to us on a day tour. When I went to get to bottle of bourden at the duty free shop to take to her mother who had been unable to come with us, they said to my daughter, "don't worry hunny, your granddad will not always act that way. It really ticked her off. I told my daughter that I thought that it was the slave mentality which I had noticed when I worked in Virginia. The slaves biggest fear was being "sold down south.I told her it takes generations to go away. I have never thought that I saw it in North Carolina where I moved to from Michigan. I can't speak for Trei, but having coached at Southern, I think that he might been referring to the feeling that the SWAC was superior no matter what the MEAC does. Maybe if Florida A & M or Southern wins the SWAC next year, we might see the crowd that they expected his year. Anyone else from the Swac, forget.

I was trying to hold it in, but I got torched when I said that NCCU lost the first Celebration Bowl on a 'Grambling call' Maybe things will begin to even out now. I saw nothing "excessive about the NCCU player's celebration.

Crowds have been going up recently. I would not be surprised if it reaches 40,000 this year.

Let's go Eagles.

I think that Tuskegee is good SIAC and Florida A & M not so good SWAC.

Que82, I remember that national championship Alabama A & M soccer team. I was in Duke Head Soccer Coach Rennie's office talking with him and his assistant and I said "ya'll might not know anything about them but don't take them for granted.

Which will mean that the US finished level when we played England. Did they only play their second string?

Bison 4 Life, you hit it on the head. I was a licensed soccer coach and referee. The team that I enjoyed coaching the most was the area U-16 girl's team. They left it all on the field. I assumed that it took so much for them to get on the playing field instead of spending all of their time in front of a mirror that they paid a price for it. You see that in the play of our woman's national soccer team.

I agree with you Miles Bear. I am a little late responding because my computer crashed, but I hope this is not why they ran off Coach Freeman. I think that they are going to have a hard time replacing him with a man of his caliber.
