How are teams are able to schedule games on SIAC championship day not knowing if they will reach the Championship? Does that give the second place team in the Division the chance to play for championship? I think Stillman did this a few years back and now I see Benedict also did this year.Benedict had a clause that they would play Point only if they didn't go to the championship. The real question is how was TU able to say they were playing the loser of the FCC. Setting a bad precedent. When you screw yourself you should be made to live with it IMHO.
I'm truly hoping TU wins next weeks and gets to the playoffs but I 1,000% agree it sets a bad precedent. The TU athletic department and others will learn from this going forward
