All 57 officers of the Buffalo Police Emergency Response team resigned Friday afternoon in support of two police officers who were suspended without pay after shoving a 75-year-old man to the ground during a protest.

A police union representative told WKBW that the officers were following orders given to them by Deputy Police Commissioner Joe Gramaglia to clear the area and do not believe they were in the wrong.
GOOD!

(CNN)NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Friday the league should have listened to players earlier about racism concerns in a video response to NFL players calling on the league to condemn racism and support its black players.

Goodell took to Instagram on Friday in response to the video "Stronger Together," which features several of the league's most famous players asking the league to take a strong stance in the wake of George Floyd's death in Minneapolis.

I am wondering the CIAA is making a pitch to any of the MEAC teams.
WSSU let you know that it just isn't that easy coming up now. But i don't think that they have too. Just stand pat. HU and A&T will be back in one form or the other.

bluedog^^^it appears homeboy had a lot to say about equality in the NFL, but the manner in which you have presented his tweets makes it difficult to discern what he’s saying. Wonder if you might set forth his comments in a more readable format.

Man, I have really been amazed by the way these bruthas in ALL of professional sports have spoken out on the racial justice issue. Even that brutha who is one of the few stars in Nascar (forgotten his name) slammed the entire industry the other day.

But what has REALLY blown my mind is the way these boys came after Drew Brees when he made those bullshyt remarks about “disrespecting” the flag because his grandfathers fought in WW2. Man, those bruthas went after dude with a vengeance. LeBron James said his stature permitted him
to call out professional athletes no matter WHAT sport, and essentially told dude to back up and STFU!!  :o

But the kicker for me was when marchers in New Orleans a couple of days ago started chanting, “(Phuck) Drew Brees”. Man, I cracked up when I first heard that chant.
Yeah that NOLA chant surprised the hell out of me. They love them some Drew Brees. I recall mentioning in this forum how i had to tell a few of them off in our fan forum after Drew orginal stance.   As for the Bennett thimg. I tried to locate the orgin of the tweet because i waas having the same trouble. But i got exhausted

Why would Tennessee State University go to a bottom feeding conference?
Why wouldnt Tennessee State leave a money drain conference?
I wish i could just zip his ignorant as off this thread.

I personally would love if Howard returned to the CIAA and CI could also snag Morehouse, Clark-Atlanta and even Tuskegee!

We left fifty years ago,why return? The CIAA of the 60's and prior is long gone.

Because deep down HU doesn’t care that much for athletics.  The CIAA is just as good as the MEAC and cheaper.

The fact that Howard has 21 sports there's no way that a move to the CIAA is happening. A move like this would be a complete disaster.
God lawd! Why did they decide to support so many?

The sad part. He will get the most vile from black people for shunning a PWI.
That just isn't true
