That's wonderful! I'm happy for the brother. I wonder what was the pay difference from East Carolina and Maryland?
News: FYI: We have three websites in our inventory: onnidan.com - news, recaps, blogs, black college sports page | onnidan1.com - this forum | onnidan2.com - composite hbcu football schedule

All I know is 3 Cinderella schools in the Final Four is bad for business. Case in point:
https://www.fox26houston.com/news/mens-final-four-2023-ticket-prices-drop-least-expensive-since-2014
They’re practically giving away tickets for the semifinals on the secondary markets. Tickets for the Women’s Final Four are selling for more.
It’ll be interesting to see what the ratings look like. My guess? People don’t actually care to see this many non-blue bloods in the Final Four at once. One? Sure! Three? No. Feels more like an NIT Final Four.
there 92 quarterbacks in the NFL better than he is?![]()

This is my train of thought. He's better than a lot of starting QBs in the league this very minute!
Well, if that is true, then why isn't he playing in the league?

Question for the Rattlers and Snakes:
Do you realistically see FAMU and BCU
in the SWAC long-term?
OR is this just a pit-stop?
Where would you like to see FAMU,
BCU in the next 5-10 years?
Just curious as to some of your opinions.
There's no right or wrong answers obviously.
Their home football games are probably better attended with Alabama State, JSU, Southern and Grambling coming to visit as opposed to having home games with NSU, MSU, DSU and NCCU. I really don't see them EVER coming back to the MEAC.
I wonder if BCU has benefited like FAMU in the SWAC. The MEAC has a lot of work to do. It will be ashamed if this great conference dies.

Wow, I have not even considered scheduling difficulties with only 6 schools. I would rather have FAMU and BCU back than the other 2. I know neither is going to happen. The MEAC needs to add a football-playing school asap.
UNC, Kentucky, Duke, Kansas all out. How often do we see this before the sweet 16?
Is this the part where the other HBCUs say we're sorry. Not me. I'm extremely happy this is happening. Who's surprised both these schools performed so poorly. Just wait until football season.
That "award winning AD", is going to run out of people to fire.
I need a bit more info on this one........yeah, me too. But there is something else that troubles me about this growing trend to "villainize" transgender folks. There was a time in this country's not-too-distant past when all-white athletic teams would refuse to enter a contest in which their opponents had one or more negro athletes. Yeah, that actually happened WITHIN the life span of a great number of peeps on this board.
Let's think about that.
Two totally different things. Too bad you are not smart enough to know that. White democrats tell you what to think and believe and you 'yassar boss' them without question.
