Divorce is always a distraction and I have a feeling this will not be an amiable breakup given the high stakes inovleved. Not wishing it on anyone, but I bet even money it does affect his play this coming season season with the press pushing him constantly for details and she'll be out front of the cameras as well once she aanouces she has representation.

You can beleive Gloria Allred is somewhere  probably chomping at the bit to grab this case.

Greensboro, NC -- Retired NC A&T State University Band Director Dr. Johnny Hodge has died. A school spokeswoman confirmed that he died Sunday morning.

Nettie Rowland says additional details were not readily available.

In the late 70's, early 80's Hodge was one of two new band directors that took over the Aggie marching band. Under his direction the marching band became the powerhouse that it is today. He is also credited with helping to rename the North Carolina A&T marching band the "Blue & Gold Marching Machine".

Hodge served as Director of Bands for four decades.  He retired from NC A&T in 2003.
